Soldering a Dead Bug TLC5947

 

Years ago I recieved some TLC5947 24-channel Led-Driver-IC as samples.

The TLC5947 is a 24-channel (the popular TLC5940 has just 16-channels) constant current sink LED driver with a 12 bit greyscale resolution (0..4095).

To use the 32 pin HTSSOP package for the ‘Farbuhr’, I soldered it as a dead bug on a PCB.

The next step is soldering the bug to a 50 mil (1,27mm) prototyping PCB.
